Shree Chemicals

Our office, Shree Chemicals, is up on the fourth floor, room 401, of the Krishna Kunj building. It’s located in Thanawala Lane, right in Vile Parle East. It’s a busy area, lots of people walking to the station. The building is one of those typical ones with a narrow staircase and an elevator that sometimes has a mind of its own. Inside, it’s just a regular office space with a few desks and a lot of files. We deal with chemical supplies, so there’s a lot of paperwork to keep track of. It isn't a factory, just where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers. Sometimes the smell of the nearby food stalls wafts in through the window, which makes us hungry before lunchtime. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling everything from billing to phone calls. It’s not a fancy corporate environment. We wear regular clothes and talk like normal people. Often, the desks are covered in sticky notes because we forget things if we don't write them down. We’ve been in this lane for quite a while now. The neighbors know us, and we know them. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we have to wait around, but usually, we stay busy. We just try to get the orders right and make sure the deliveries go to the right places. It’s a decent living.
