Vikram Electronics

Vikram Electronics is located in the Shanti Niketan Building on Padmaji Road. We are specifically in Shop No.9A on the first floor. If you are ever near the Dreamland Theatre, you’ve probably walked right past us without even knowing it. It’s one of those buildings that has a lot of history. Our shop is a bit cramped because we have so many parts and pieces of electronics everywhere. There are wires hanging in some spots and stacks of components on the workbenches. It’s the kind of place where we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone else. The first floor gets a fair amount of foot traffic from people heading to other shops in the building. Working on Padmaji Road means it’s never really quiet. You have the sounds of the city coming in through the windows all day long. We don't have a big reception desk or fancy chairs. Most of the time we are just hunched over a circuit board or checking a screen. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops pop in to say hello or ask for a tool. It feels like a real community here. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep the shop running smoothly despite the limited space we have in 9A.
