Viking Enterprises

Viking Enterprises is up on the first floor of the Ajay Industrial Estate. If you know Mazgaon, you know this area is full of old buildings and lots of small shops tucked away. Being right across from Hasnabad Anjirwadi, we get a lot of the local traffic and the noise from the street below. The stairs up to our unit are a bit steep, so moving heavy boxes up and down is always a bit of a workout for the guys. Inside, it’s mostly just workspace and storage. We have a lot of stuff piled up, but we generally know where everything is. Dr. Mascarenhas Road is always busy, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their shifts. The light in the industrial estate isn’t the best, so we’ve got these bright overhead lamps that hum a little bit while we work. It’s a practical kind of place. We don't have a lobby or anything like that; you just walk in and see us working. Most days we are just busy packing orders or checking the inventory that came in the night before. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and we just sit and wait it out, chatting about whatever is in the news. It's a steady rhythm here. We’ve been in this building for a long time, and the walls are covered in marks from years of moving equipment around. It is a bit dusty, but we keep things moving.
