A. K. Automation

You can find A. K. Automation over at Harichand Compound on LBS Marg in Vikhroli West. We are in Unit 17 on the first floor. A good landmark is the Krishna Canteen; we are right near there. The smell of food from the canteen usually drifts up to us around lunchtime. It’s a busy area and the compound has a lot of history. We’ve set up our workspace to handle all kinds of automation tasks. It’s not a massive factory, just a decent-sized unit where we can focus. There are cables and components all over the place most of the time. We aren’t really the type to have a polished showroom. We prefer being in the thick of the technical work. Some of us have been here for years, while others joined more recently. We just get along and do what needs to be done for our customers. Vikhroli is a central spot, so getting parts delivered is usually pretty easy. The building is older, but it serves our purposes well enough. We keep the fans running most of the day because it gets warm inside with all the machines. It’s just a normal workshop where people work hard. We don't make things complicated. If a machine breaks or needs a setup, we figure it out. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us here at the compound. We usually pack up around six in the evening.
