Our place is tucked away in the B-19 Adke Compound over in Surya Nagar. It is a busy little corner of Vikhroli West, especially being so close to the police station. You can usually hear the sirens or see the patrol cars moving nearby throughout the day. Getting here from LBS Marg is not too bad if the traffic is behaving, but as anyone around here knows, that is not always the case. The compound itself is a mix of different businesses and it can get quite loud with trucks loading and unloading at all hours. We handle a variety of products and services from this office and the space is mostly filled with desks and storage boxes. It is not a shiny corporate office with glass walls; it is more of a practical workspace where we get things done. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through paperwork at the wooden tables. There is always a thermos of tea somewhere nearby because the days can get long. We have been in this part of Vikhroli for a while and we know the neighborhood rhythms well. When the lunch hour hits, the smell of food from the local stalls drifts in through the windows. We just keep our heads down and try to stay on top of the daily tasks that come our way. It is a decent spot to work and we have gotten used to the hustle and bustle of the compound life over the years we have been here.
