Govandi is a very busy spot to work in. We are located right below Dena Bank at Nagesh Industrial Estate. Being at number 1 makes it pretty easy to tell people how to find us. Glass is a fragile thing to work with, so we have to handle everything very carefully at Vikas Glass Apparatus Co. It is quiet work some of the time, but then the glass starts clinking and it gets a bit loud. We have racks and racks of tubes and beakers all over the place. It is a bit cramped in here, to be honest. We always have to be careful where we step so we don't break anything. The lighting is okay, but we use extra lamps when we have to work on the really small pieces. It is just a small team of us here. We have been in this spot for a long time. The bank upstairs always has a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. We can hear their footsteps on the ceiling sometimes. Govandi has its own rhythm that you get used to. We get our tea from the little shop just across the street. We don't have any fancy brochures or a website. People just know us or they find our address at Nagesh Industrial Estate. We spend the day cleaning glass and packing it in bubble wrap. It is a lot of bubble wrap. Vikas Glass Apparatus Co. is just a humble place doing what we know how to do for our customers every day.
