Vijaya Color Lab

Vijaya Color Lab is situated on the Vikroli West Main Road. We are directly opposite the Sasi Punjab Restaurant, which is lucky for us because their food smells great all afternoon. We spend a lot of time working with photos and colors. The shop isn't very big, and it’s often cluttered with frames and envelopes. We’ve been at this location for a long time. People come in with old photos they want to fix or new ones they need printed. It’s a lot of staring at monitors to get the shades just right. The traffic on the main road is constant, so there’s always a hum of engines in the background. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to spend an hour fixing it, which is frustrating but part of the job. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. We know their families and what they like. It’s nice to be a part of the community like that. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the restaurant across the street gets busy. It’s a simple business, nothing too complicated. We just focus on getting the pictures to look the way they should. Every day is different depending on what people bring in.
