Vijay Commercial House

Vijay Commercial House is on the first floor of the Haroon Building, right on Shamaldas Gandhi Marg. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has that classic Mumbai feel to it. We’ve been here for years, and the post office box 2539 is a permanent fixture in our mail. The area is always crowded with people and carts moving through the narrow streets. Inside, it’s a bit quieter than the road outside, but only just. We handle various commercial goods and trade items. There are ledgers and files stacked up on every available surface in the office. It’s a busy environment where the phone is almost always ringing with someone asking about a price. We don't have fancy interiors or air conditioning in every room. It’s just a practical space where we conduct our business. We know the other tenants in Haroon Building well; it’s like a little community of its own after all this time. Most days are spent negotiating with suppliers or checking on shipments coming into the port. Sometimes the rain leaks through the windows a bit during the monsoon, but we just put a towel down and keep working. We aren't looking for fame, just a steady stream of work to keep the lights on and the staff paid. It’s an honest way to make a living in a very busy city like Mumbai.
