Our shop is tucked away in G-7 on the ground floor of the Anurag Business Centre in Chembur. It’s right near Amar Talkies, which makes it pretty easy to explain where we are to people. Being in the cinema services business, we end up dealing with a lot of different equipment and technical stuff for films. Vijay Cine Services has been around for a bit, and we’ve seen the industry change from the old days to now. The office is usually full of cables, cameras, and gear waiting to be checked or sent out. It’s not the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. Chembur is a good spot for us because it’s central enough for our clients. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things or helping people figure out what gear they need for their shoots. It’s not a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s more of a workshop feel where work actually gets done. Sometimes it gets pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we don’t mind. We’re just a group of people who know a thing or two about movie equipment. We don’t spend much on decorating the place, as long as the tools work and the lights stay on. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but we like the bustle of the film world. We’re just here doing our part behind the scenes without much fuss.
