We’ve been here on Chembur Mahul Road for quite some time now. Most people know us because they pass by R C Marg every day on their way to work or headed back home. It’s a busy spot, and sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but that’s just how it is around here. We deal with cars and automotive stuff mostly. My dad started things off and now a few of us keep the place running. It isn’t a fancy showroom with glass walls or anything like that. It’s more of a practical place where you come when something is wrong with your vehicle or you need a specific part. We spend a lot of our mornings just sorting through inventory and making sure we have what people usually ask for. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it is a bit quieter so we catch up on cleaning the tools. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone doing fancy posters. We just open the shutters early in the morning, brew some tea, and get to work. If you’re driving through Chembur and see the sign, that’s us. It’s a straightforward business and we try to keep it that way without making things complicated. We know the regulars by name and they know where to find us if they need help with their cars. That's about it really.
