We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls because importing and exporting pharma stuff requires a lot of attention to detail. There are always files stacked on desks and the hum of the air conditioner in the background. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards at the gate know us by name. It’s a straightforward operation. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a small group of us making sure the logistics work out and the shipments get to where they’re supposed to go. Sometimes the traffic on the way to the office is a nightmare, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We grab tea from the stall downstairs and get to work. Dealing with international stuff means we are often checking clocks for different time zones, which can be a bit tiring. But we like the rhythm of it. We just stay focused on the tasks at hand and keep things moving from our little corner in Arun Chambers, making sure the records are kept straight.
