Vifor India Pvt Ltd has been operating out of Plot No. 1 in the Udyog Nagar Estate for a long time. Our place is right on S. V. Road in Goregaon West, which is a major road that is almost always busy with cars and buses. Being at the very first plot in the estate makes us easy to spot, but the noise from the traffic is something we’ve just had to get used to over the years. We handle pharmaceutical work, which means our daily routine is a mix of warehouse management and office tasks. The building is a bit older and has that industrial feel with high ceilings and heavy doors. We don't have a big reception area with a fancy logo; instead, you walk in and see people busy with boxes and ledgers. It is a very hands-on environment. Most of us wear comfortable clothes because we are often moving around the floor rather than just sitting at a desk. We take our breaks together and usually talk about the local news or the latest cricket match. There isn't any corporate talk about missions or visions here. We just have a list of things that need to be shipped and we make sure they get on the right truck. Sometimes the rain in Goregaon makes things a bit difficult, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. It’s a steady, reliable way to spend the work week.
