Impact Export

Our office for Impact Export is up on the 13th floor of Videocon Towers, which is part of the Thakur Complex in Kandivali East. Being in a tall building like this means we spend a fair bit of time waiting for elevators, especially during the lunch hour when everyone is heading out. From up here in A1304, you can see a good chunk of the city, which is nice when you need a break from looking at computer screens. We do a lot of export work, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and emails to various agents and shipping companies. Kandivali East is a pretty active area, and Thakur Complex has everything you need, so we don't have to go far for snacks or office supplies. Our space is functional, filled with desks and a few cabinets for all the documents we have to keep. It gets a bit hectic when we have multiple shipments going out at once, but we've found a rhythm that works for us. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation; we're just a small group trying to keep things moving smoothly. Most days are just about checking lists and making sure the details are right before anything leaves. It’s steady work and keeps us on our toes most of the time. Sometimes the internet acts up or a delivery is late, but that’s just life in the office.
