You can find us at Hemu Classic, right on S.V. Road in Malad West. Our studio is in B/202. We’re right across from the New Era Theatre, which is a good landmark for people who aren't familiar with the area. We work with clothes and different fabrics. If you walked into the studio, you’d see rolls of cloth, thread, and half-finished garments all over the place. It’s not a retail shop; it’s where the actual work happens. There are sewing machines and large cutting tables that take up most of the room. The afternoon light is actually quite nice through the windows, which helps when we’re looking at colors. S.V. Road is always loud with cars and buses, but we don't notice it much anymore. We have a small team here, and we’ve all worked together for a long time. Someone usually brings in biscuits or snacks in the evening when we’re finishing up. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We just focus on the clothes we’re making. Sometimes things don't go perfectly and we have to redo a pattern, but that’s just how it is in this business. Our coffee mugs are usually scattered around on the worktables. The walls aren't decorated with anything other than sketches and bits of fabric pinned up for inspiration. It’s a busy, somewhat messy place, but it’s where we do our best work. We just keep sewing and trying to stay on schedule.
