Velocity Express Pvt.Ltd is located right inside the Lafarge Arasmeta Cement Plant area. Our specific spot is Qr, No Ee-C4 in Gopalnagar. Being based in the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh means we are right in the middle of the industrial action. Most of our work revolves around the cement plant, so things are usually dusty and very busy. We have a small office where we manage the express deliveries and logistics for the site. It’s a lot of coordinating with drivers and making sure the gate passes are all in order. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything; people just walk in when they need to talk to us. The heat in this part of Chhattisgarh can be brutal in the summer, so we keep the fans going and just get on with it. Sometimes the trucks get backed up at the gate, and we have to spend the afternoon sorting out the mess. It's just part of the job. We’ve been here long enough that we know the plant layout like the back of our hands. It’s a simple, hardworking environment where we focus on the task at hand and don't worry about much else. If someone needs a delivery fast, we do our best to find a driver and get it moving without a bunch of unnecessary paperwork or delays.
