Vein Clinic

You can find us on the 1st Floor of Agnelo House, which is at 156 S.V. Road in Khar West. Being on S.V. Road means it’s never actually quiet. There’s always a stream of rickshaws and cars going past outside. We’re up the stairs, and the Vein Clinic is basically just a few rooms where we do our work. It’s a typical Mumbai office building, a bit cramped but functional. The windows look out onto the street, so you can see the madness of Khar West while you’re sitting in the waiting room. We have some benches and a small desk where we handle the paperwork. It’s not a large place by any means. We spend most of the day dealing with people's leg issues and whatever else comes up. The air conditioner is usually running full blast because it gets so humid here. We’ve got the usual medical equipment and some cabinets full of files. Everything is a bit grey and white inside. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. Most of our day is spent walking between the treatment rooms and the front desk. People come up the stairs, often a bit out of breath, and we get them settled in. It’s just a small, practical clinic in a very busy part of town, and we like the rhythm of it.
