Our office is located at Office Number 5 in the Om Sai Co-op Housing Society. We are in the Sai Wadi area, right on Teli Gali in Andheri West. If you are familiar with Mumbai, you know Andheri is always buzzing with activity. Veenikay Import And Export is a small company we started to handle trade across borders. It is not a huge, sleek office with glass walls; it is a practical space in a regular building where we can get our work done without distractions. Most of our day involves being on the phone or tracking shipments on the computer. We deal with a lot of different products, so things never get too boring around here. Teli Gali is a busy spot, and there is always something going on outside our window. We do not have a big corporate structure or anything like that. It is just a few of us handling the nuts and bolts of the business. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up when a big shipment comes in. We just take it one step at a time. We are not interested in sounding like a big multinational; we are just a local Andheri business trying to make a living in the import-export world. We value the relationships we have with our regular clients and just try to be reliable. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but we would not have it any other way.
