Our office is at Mittal Court, unit 51/B, which is right in the Nariman Point area. Being at 224 Nariman Point means we are surrounded by a lot of big buildings and people in suits. Vav Life Sciences is a bit more low-key than some of the other firms in this tower. We spend most of our time looking at data and working on the science side of things. The office has a decent view, but we are usually too busy with our research and paperwork to look out the window much. It is a professional spot but it feels lived in, with stacks of journals and folders everywhere. People think life sciences is all about high-tech labs, and while we do that, a lot of the work is just boring office stuff in a room in Mumbai. The elevators in Mittal Court can be slow during lunch hour, so we usually just bring our own food or go to a small stall nearby. We have got a small team here and everyone knows their role. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive decor or modern art. We just want to make sure the work we do is accurate. It is a lot of long hours sometimes, especially when we have big deadlines for our projects. Nariman Point is a good place to be because everything is accessible, even if the traffic getting here in the morning is a total nightmare. We just focus on our experiments and data.
