Vasumati Print & Packaging

We’re located in the Haji Habib Building, room 11/2, on Naigaon Cross Lane in Dadar East. If you know Dadar TT, you know how hectic it gets around here. Our shop is always busy with the sound of printing presses running. We do all kinds of print jobs and some packaging work too. It’s a cramped space because we’ve squeezed in as much equipment as possible. There are stacks of paper and ink cans everywhere you look. We’ve been in this building for many years, and the walls are stained with ink from all the jobs we’ve done. It’s a family-run kind of place, where even the kids help out sometimes during the holidays. We don't have a fancy front desk. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. Sometimes the smell of the chemicals is a bit strong, but we keep the fans going. We don’t do big brochures or sales pitches. People just come to us because they know we’ve been here forever and we know how to fix a printing error on the fly. Dadar is a great place to be because everything is so close, even if the traffic is a nightmare. We just keep our heads down and focus on the ink and the paper. It’s a honest living and we’re proud of what we do. There is always someone working late here to finish a job for the morning. We just keep the presses turning and the paper moving.
