Pet Exotic Hub is located over in Vashi. It’s a place where we spend a lot of time cleaning cages and making sure the animals are fed and comfortable. We don't have a massive warehouse; it’s a more personal space. Dealing with exotic pets means there is always something unusual happening, like a bird that won't stop chirping or a reptile that’s decided to hide in its bedding. The shop smells a bit like hay and wood shavings, which is expected. We spend a lot of our budget on specialized food and lighting for the tanks. It’s not a job where you can sit down much. There is always a floor to sweep or water to change. People come in with a lot of questions, and we try to tell them what we know from our own experience. We aren't scientists or vets, we just spend every day with these creatures. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with supplies and tanks waiting to be set up. It’s a bit of a maze in here. We don't have a polished showroom feel. It’s practical and focused on the animals. Vashi is a good spot for us, and we have regulars who stop by just to see what new arrivals we have. It’s a lot of work and sometimes it's messy, but we like the animals enough to keep at it. Some days are loud, some are quiet, but there's always something needing to be cleaned.
