Our office is on the second floor of the R.D. Shah Building, right above the Canara Bank on J.P. Road. It’s a very busy spot because we’re directly opposite the Ghatkopar Railway Station in Ghatkopar West. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the commuters and the trains. We can hear the station announcements sometimes if the windows are open. We’ve been here at Vaishnavi Lifescience for quite some time now. The building is older, but it’s solid. Getting up to the second floor is a bit of a climb when the elevator is being fussy. Inside, we mostly handle life science products and marketing. It’s a lot of phone calls and coordinating with people all over the city. The office isn’t anything fancy—just some sturdy desks, a few filing cabinets that are getting too full, and a lot of papers. We like being so close to the station though, because it makes it easy for the staff to get to work, even if the commute is a bit of a struggle. We’re right in the heart of the action here. Most of the day is spent managing shipments and talking to clients. It’s a bit chaotic at times with the noise from the street, but we just put our heads down and get the job done. It is a no-nonsense environment and we like it that way.
