Our office is at Number-24, Nagdevi Cross Lane, 3rd floor, Room No. 4, Masjid Bundar, so we are tucked away a bit. If you have been to Masjid Bundar, you already know how the vibe is. It is crowded, loud, and always moving with people and carts. The building itself is quite old and the stairs are narrow. We don't have a lift that goes all the way up reliably, so we usually just walk the three flights. It keeps us fit, I suppose. Inside, the room is small and packed with boxes from floor to ceiling. We deal in various hardware and industrial supplies. It is more of a storage space and a small office combined into one. There are two desks that are almost buried under papers and old catalogs. We don't really have a showroom here. Customers usually call us first or come in knowing exactly what they need. The windows look out onto the narrow lane below, and you can hear the constant shouting of loaders and the honking of bikes all day. It is not the most peaceful place to work, but it is right in the heart of the trade area. We’ve been here for years and we know the rhythms of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep working. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us handling everything from sales to packing. It is a bit chaotic, but we have our own system.
