V. Mehta & Co.

Our office is tucked away on the first floor of an older building at number 98 Narayan Dhuru Street. We have rooms 104 and 105, which is plenty of space for what we do. If you know this street, you know how busy it gets with people and carts moving up and down all day long. It is a lot of noise outside, but once you head up the stairs to the first floor, things get a bit quieter. We have been in this spot for years and the walls could probably tell a lot of stories if they could talk. The floor is a bit uneven in places and the lights sometimes flicker when the heavy machinery starts up nearby, but it feels like home to us. We keep our desks cluttered with papers and files because that is just how we work best. Usually, there is a thermos of tea sitting somewhere and the windows stay open to let in some air, even if it brings in the city sounds. It is not a modern office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical place where we show up every morning and stay until the work is finished. Most of the other businesses on this floor have been here as long as we have, so we all know each other. We do not have a big sign outside, just our name on the door. It is a tight-knit spot in a very crowded part of the city.
