Our workspace is over at Ajay Industrial Estate, specifically in unit 221. Mazgaon is a very busy area, especially around Kasturi Chowk, so getting here in the morning can be quite a challenge with all the trucks and delivery vans blocking the narrow lanes nearby. We have been working out of this space for many years now. The building itself is quite old, you can tell by the stairs and the way the walls look, but it serves us well for what we do every day. Inside, it is mostly stacks of inventory and the sound of machines or people talking over the constant noise of the street. It is a very industrial vibe, nothing pretty to look at, but it is where we get everything finished. We deal with the day-to-day operations, sorting out various supplies and making sure things get shipped out to where they need to go on time. There is always someone coming or going, either a driver picking up a load or a supplier dropping something off at the door. It gets really hot in the afternoons, so we usually have the ceiling fans going full blast just to stay comfortable. We do not spend much time on fancy decorations or things like that. The focus is just on the work at hand and making sure nobody messes up the inventory count. It is honest work and we have gotten used to the rhythm of this neighborhood over the years. We know the tea stall guy around the corner pretty well.
