V Kapoor Jewels Pvt Ltd is tucked away on the 3rd floor of Nanik Niwas. We are located at 21, Nanik Niwas on Dr Charni Road. It’s a great area because we are right near the Central Plaza Theatre, so there is always a bit of life on the streets. Being on the third floor means we’re a bit removed from the immediate noise of the traffic, which is helpful when you’re dealing with jewelry. It’s an older building with a lot of character, and we’ve been here for quite some time. We don’t have a big storefront on the street level, so people usually have to know where they are going to find us. We mostly deal with people who have been coming to us for years or who heard about us through word of mouth. It’s a more personal way of doing things. The office is full of the tools and materials we need for our work. It’s not a shiny showroom; it’s a place where work actually happens. Charni Road is one of those parts of Mumbai that feels very traditional, and we like being a part of that history.
