Utkarsh Brush Works

We've been here at 235, Adarsh Industrial Estate in Chakala for a good while now. It’s a busy spot on Sahar Road in Andheri (E). Mostly, our days are spent getting brushes ready for whoever needs them. It isn't a fancy setup, just a workshop where we keep the machines running and make sure the hair and handles stay together like they should. Some days the traffic outside on Sahar Road is a bit much, but we just stay inside and focus on the orders. People stop by sometimes asking for specific sizes. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the dust from the materials gets everywhere. It's just a regular local business. We handle the manufacturing ourselves right here. If you know the area, we're tucked into the estate with the other units. There isn't much to say other than we work hard on every batch. It gets hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is in this part of Mumbai. We've got a small team, and everyone knows their job. We don’t spend time on big speeches, just making sure the brushes go out on time. The estate is always loud with other workshops, so we fit right in. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the work here stays pretty much the same. Just everyday brush making.
