Utkarsh Brush Works

You can find us at 235 in the Adarsh Industrial Estate, which is over in Chakala on Sahar Road. Being in Andheri East, we are right in the middle of all the industrial action. The building is always humming with the sound of machines and people moving crates around. We specialize in making brushes, so the floor is usually covered in little bits of fiber and wood shavings. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not the cleanest place, but it’s where the real work happens. The traffic on Sahar Road can be a nightmare sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. Inside our unit, we have rows of workbenches where the brushes are assembled and packed. We deal with a lot of other businesses in the estate, so there is a lot of back-and-forth throughout the day. It’s a straightforward setup with no unnecessary frills. We spend our hours making sure the machines are running right and the orders are getting out on time. The air is always a bit dusty, and the lights are those long fluorescent tubes that flicker every now and then. It’s just a regular workshop where people work hard with their hands. We’ve been here in Chakala for quite some time now and know the local area like the back of our hands.
