Our office is in the Duvairat Society, specifically Flat 1 in Saifee Park. It is on Marol Church Road in Andheri East. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area is. It is always crowded and the traffic near the church can be a real headache. Ut Worldwide India Pvt Ltd operates out of this ground floor space. It feels more like a home than a corporate office because it is in a residential society. We have our desks set up where the living room probably was. We deal with international shipping stuff all day long. There are always couriers coming to the door with envelopes. Sometimes the society kids are playing outside and you can hear them through the window while we are trying to talk to clients. It is not a silent place. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. The rain in Mumbai makes things interesting because the roof sometimes leaks a little near the window. We just put a bucket there and keep working. It is just the way it is. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and we are all there working. It is a practical setup for us. We handle the documents and the bookings without much fuss. Marol is a good spot for us because it is close to everything we need.
