Uss Import & Export Clearing Private Limited

Our office is over in the Danabunder area of Mumbai, in a building called Rajgor Chambers. We are on the fourth floor in room 404. This part of the city, near Chinchbunder, is always packed with trucks and laborers because it’s a major hub for goods. We focus on clearing services for imports and exports. It’s a very technical job that requires a lot of patience with paperwork and customs rules. The office itself is quite plain, just a place for us to keep our records and work on our computers. We are surrounded by other people doing the same kind of thing, so there is a lot of talk about shipping lines and port delays in the hallways. We don’t have a marketing department or any polished brochures. Most of our work comes from just being here and knowing how the system works. The area around Dr Kuvershi Raishishaha Marg is always noisy and dusty, but it’s the right place for this kind of business. We try to stay organized, though it’s hard when you have stacks of documents arriving every hour. We just take it one task at a time and try to make sure nothing gets overlooked. It’s a lot of responsibility because a mistake can cost a lot of money, so we stay pretty focused. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the daily grind of clearing goods through the port.
