Usha Industries

Usha Industries is located right on Main Road 28 in Mulund West. It is a place where there is always noise from the street traffic, but we have gotten used to the horns and the engines after all these years. We focus on manufacturing and making industrial parts. The workshop floor is usually covered in a bit of dust and metal scraps, but that is just how it is when you are actually making things. We don't have a big reception area or anyone to greet you with a professional smile and a fancy coffee. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the machines or at the back desk. My father started this place, and I took over after he couldn't do the long hours anymore. We have a few guys working here who have been with us since the very beginning. They know how the old machines run better than I do. We do our own maintenance most of the time because calling a repairman takes too long and costs a lot of money we’d rather save. We make parts for other businesses, mostly local shops around the area. It is hard work and the summer heat makes the shop feel like an oven sometimes. We just keep the big fans going and drink a lot of water to get through the shift. There isn't any fancy strategy here. We just take the orders as they come and try to finish them.
