You’ll find UNIVERSAL TRADING COMPANY at Shop No-2 in the A. S. Dias Building. We’re located at 272 Dr. Cawasji Hormusji Street, right in the Dhobhi Talao area near Marine Line East. This is an old part of the city, and the building has that classic feel to it. Our shop is small but we’ve been here long enough that most people in the neighborhood know us. It’s a busy street with a lot of foot traffic and old shops all lined up. We handle various trading goods, and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We buy things, we stock them, and we sell them to people who need them. The atmosphere is very local. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us behind the counter. We like the personal touch of talking to customers face-to-face. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded with boxes, but that’s just the nature of trading in a space like this. We’ve seen the city change around us, but Dhobhi Talao still has that old-school charm.
