You can find us over in Badlapur West at Sarvoday Nagar. We are based in Gajanand Palace, at G-04, which is a place A K Pagare looks after. Badlapur is a bit of a trek from the center of Mumbai, so it feels like its own world here. The office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to drop in and out. It’s a basic setup. We have some sturdy desks, a few cupboards for the files, and plenty of chairs for the site supervisors when they come in for meetings. The area is quite lively with people going about their business. We get a lot of noise from the street, but you stop noticing it after a while. Our work is all about the infrastructure projects around this part of the state. We spend our time looking at site photos, managing the payroll for the workers, and making sure we have enough supplies. It’s not a shiny office with a view. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty and then come back to do the paperwork. We drink a lot of coffee and keep the fans on high during the humid months. It’s a simple, honest way to run things. We don't use any fancy language or try to act like a big corporate firm. We just show up and do what needs to be done. The focus is always on the daily list of tasks.
