United Colors Benetton

We are located at Unit No 15 on the ground floor of the Skyzo building. It is right in the Phoenix Mill Compound, near the Nehru Bridge corner in Lower Parel. Being on the ground floor means we see thousands of people walking past our windows every single day. The whole area is always crowded, especially when the weekend hits and everyone is out shopping. Our space at United Colors Benetton is usually filled with stacks of clothes and racks that we have to straighten out constantly. It is a lot of folding and moving items around to make sure the right sizes are where they belong. The lighting in the shop is very bright, which helps when you are trying to tell all the different colors apart. We do not spend much time talking about ourselves; we mostly just help people find a fitting room or look for a specific shirt in the back. Lower Parel is a very fast-paced place to work, and we definitely feel that energy every shift. The air conditioning has to run all day because of the heat and the crowds. It can get a bit chaotic when a lot of shoppers come in at once, but we just manage it one person at a time. The back room is where we keep all the extra boxes, and it is always a bit of a struggle to find space for new stock. It is a regular retail job. We show up, open the doors, and stay on our feet.
