Uniquepoonam Homes Llp is based in the Fort area, which is one of the oldest parts of the city. Our office is located on the 4th floor of the Saheb Building at 195 Jivaji Lane. We have rooms 18, 19, and 20. It’s a bit of a maze getting up there because the building is quite old and the stairs are narrow. Bora Bazar is always packed with people and vendors, so it’s never quiet around here. We handle home sales and rentals in this neighborhood. Our rooms are filled with files, old maps, and a couple of computers that have been through a lot. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and we know almost every corner of the Fort district. It’s a lot of legwork, going from one building to another to check on things. We don't have a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a regular workplace where we sit and talk to folks about where they want to live. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the old walls a bit damp, but that’s just how these old buildings are. We like the history of Jivaji Lane and the fact that we are right in the middle of all the action. We just take things as they come and try to help our clients find what they are looking for without making things too complicated. It’s a busy life in Bora Bazar, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
