Unique Tools Centre

You can find Unique Tools Centre over at 56 Sarang Street. We are on the 1st floor in what everyone calls KHOKHA BAZAR. It’s a famous area for tools and hardware, and it’s always packed with people looking for something specific. The building we are in is quite old, and the stairs are worn down from years of use. Inside, it smells like oil and metal, which is exactly how a tool shop should smell. We have tools of all sizes hanging on the walls and tucked into drawers. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are in here at once. We don't have a computer system that does everything; we still do a lot of things by hand and with paper. It feels more honest that way. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what they’re fixing or building. There’s no corporate script here. We just say what’s on our minds. Sometimes we don't have exactly what someone wants, and we tell them where else they might find it in the bazar. It’s a tight-knit community of shops. We’ve been at this for a long time, and we don't plan on changing how we do things. It’s just a regular shop for regular people who need to get a job done. The fan hums, the customers come and go, and we just keep the inventory as organized as possible in this small space.
