If you ever find yourself on Narsi Natha Street, you’ll probably see the trucks lined up trying to navigate the narrow lanes. We’re at number 193, and it’s usually a hub of activity with boxes coming in and going out. Dealing with imports and exports means there is always a lot of paperwork on the desks, and the phone seems to ring at the oddest hours because of the time differences. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of the time, we’re just checking labels, counting crates, and making sure the manifests match what’s actually in the containers. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of the printer going off. We’ve got stacks of files that have been there for months. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the windows open and get on with it. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that; we just focus on moving goods from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a lot of logistical work and sometimes things get delayed at the port, which causes a bit of stress, but that’s just part of the trade. We’ve been operating from this street for a while now, and we know the routine like the back of our hand. It is a lot of checking and double-checking every single day to make sure nothing gets lost.
