Unique Design

We are tucked away in Room Number 2 at Omkar Chawl. It’s on Majas Road in Jogeshwari East, right near the Swami Samarth School. If you know the Ldatta Tekdi area, you can find us pretty easily. It’s a small space, but we make it work for our design business. Mumbai is always loud and crowded, and our corner is no different. We spend most of our time here working on drawings and plans. It gets a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around, but we manage. We aren’t a big fancy studio with glass walls. We just have our desks and our computers in the chawl. Sometimes the kids from the school nearby make a lot of noise during their breaks, but it’s a nice kind of life. We started this because we liked making things look better. Most of our neighbors know us by now. We do a lot of small design jobs for people in the local area and sometimes further out in Mumbai. Traveling around the city for meetings can be a pain with the traffic, so we prefer when people just come by the room. It’s a humble setup, but we get the work done. We don’t need much more than some tea and our tools to keep going. It is just a small room in a big city, but it is ours and we keep busy with whatever comes through the door.
