Nagdevi Street is always a mess. If you’ve ever been down here to S. K. House, you know what I’m talking about. Our office is up on the second floor, room 204, and those stairs can be a bit much when you’re carrying things or in a rush. We’ve been at 171-173 for a while now, handling industrial marketing stuff. It’s mostly just paperwork, phone calls, and making sure the supplies get where they need to go. The street outside is loud with people moving carts and trucks trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. It gets dusty, and the fans in the office barely keep it cool in the summer. We drink a lot of chai from the guy downstairs. Everyone knows everyone around here, which makes the work a bit easier. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time talking to neighbors than actually working. But that's just how Nagdevi works. We deal with all sorts of industrial parts. It’s not fancy work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. You find a way to navigate the crowd and get the job done. The office isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. Most days are just about keeping up with the orders and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle of the busy Mumbai market. There is always someone shouting or a horn honking, but we just get on with things and finish our tasks.
