Our unit is located at A 52 in the Giriraj Industrial Estate. It’s right on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East, so you can imagine how the traffic is during peak hours. The estate is an old one, full of different businesses making all sorts of things. We focus on electrical components, and our space is mostly taken up by assembly benches and storage racks. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a good location once you get inside. The rainy season in Mumbai is always a challenge here, as the water sometimes collects near the entrance, but we just put down some planks and keep moving. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do have to hurry when a big shipment is due. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or big signs. Most of our business comes from people who know the industrial estate well. Lunch is usually shared among the staff in the small corner we cleared out between the boxes. It’s a lot of manual counting and checking labels. We just try to keep the workflow steady and make sure everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It is just a typical day in Andheri East, keeping our heads down and doing the work as it comes in.
