Umesh Desai & Associates

Umesh Desai & Associates is over in Bandra East, specifically in Building No 55 at Gandhi Nagar. We are up in Block No 2546. This part of Bandra is pretty different from the West side, it feels more like a lived-in neighborhood. Our office is a place where there are always rolls of drawings and stacks of files sitting on the tables. We spend a lot of time looking at site plans and talking about how to get things built properly. It is not always exciting work, but it needs to be done right so everything stays safe. Sometimes we have to head out to different parts of Mumbai to check on how things are progressing on-site. The traffic in Bandra East can be a real pain, especially near the station area, so we try to plan our day around that. We have been in this building for a good while, so most of the neighbors know us. It is a quiet enough spot to get work done without too many distractions. There is usually a pot of tea going somewhere and someone is always on the phone talking to a contractor or a municipal office. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. We just have our name on the door and we get on with the daily tasks of planning and managing projects for folks who need them. I guess it’s just the way it goes here.
