Umedica Laboratories Pvt Ltd is found in Rewa Chamber, which is located at New Marine Lines. It is an older part of the city, and the building has that classic Mumbai feel to it. Working at New Marine Lines means we are close to the sea and the breeze sometimes reaches us, though the humidity is always there too. We operate our labs and offices from this location, so there is a mix of technical work and paperwork happening at the same time. Rewa Chamber is a busy building with a lot of people coming in and out for different reasons. Our space is divided into areas for testing and areas for the administrative staff to keep the records straight. It is not a high-tech looking place from the outside, but we have what we need on the inside to do the lab work properly. The hallways are a bit narrow and the elevators can be slow during the lunch rush, but that is just part of the charm of working in an older building. We see the same regulars on the street every day when we go out for tea. It is a very grounded environment. We don't have any flashy marketing materials on the walls, just the necessary safety posters and calendars. We focus on the samples and the results, keeping things simple and quiet. It is just us doing our jobs at New Marine Lines.
