Uk Based Multi National Mining Company

Our office is located in Navi Mumbai, specifically in Nerul at Sector 19. We are in Santkrupa CHS, Plot No. 78, in Flat No. 3. Even though we are part of a mining company that is based in the UK, our daily life here is very much local to Maharashtra. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that comes with mining operations. It involves a lot of paperwork and making sure the right equipment gets to the right sites. We are not a huge office with hundreds of people. There are just a few of us here. It is a regular residential building, so it does not feel like a cold corporate environment. We spend a lot of time on the computer or on international calls. The time difference can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We do not have any fancy mission posters on the walls. Mostly it is just maps and calendars. We do not do much in the way of promotion. The mining world is pretty small, and people know who they need to talk to. We just try to keep things moving without too much trouble. Sometimes the rain in Mumbai makes the commute a bit of a mess, but we always make it in. It is a steady job and we like being in this part of Nerul. There are some good places to eat nearby too.
