Uday Exim Private Limited is tucked away on the second floor of Khetsi House. We are located at 383 Jagannath Shankarsheth Marg, right in the Thakurdwar area of Kalbadevi. If you've ever spent any time in this part of Mumbai, you know how crowded and loud it gets. It’s really the old heart of the city’s trade and commerce. Our office isn’t much to look at from the street, but it’s where we handle all our import and export tasks. We’ve been in this specific building for quite a few years now. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are kind of narrow, but the place has a lot of history. We mostly deal with textiles and other goods that pass through the markets nearby. It takes a lot of legwork, talking to different merchants and coordinating with the guys who handle the transport. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or a big reception desk. Instead, we have desks piled high with folders and samples of fabric or other materials. Working in Kalbadevi means you're always in the middle of all the action. You can hear the noise of the street from our windows all day long. It reminds us that trade never really stops. We aren't a big corporate entity with a board of directors; we’re just a local team that knows how to get things done in this part of town. It’s honest trade and simple logistics without any of the corporate fluff.
