Working out of Hendre Building on Sane Guruji Marg means we’re right in the thick of it. Ucco Mech Filters Pvt.Ltd. is really just a group of us who know a lot about how to keep machines clean from the inside. We deal with filters every day, mostly for mechanical stuff. It’s messy work sometimes. You can’t really avoid the oil or the smell of the materials, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our space in building number one isn't huge, but we make it work. There are stacks of mesh and housings everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like we’re tripping over the inventory, but we know where everything is. The morning starts with tea and a look at the orders that came in overnight. We aren’t a big corporate office with shiny floors. We have old wooden desks and fans that squeak a bit when it gets hot in the afternoon. People call us because their equipment is acting up and they need a replacement filter fast. We do what we can to help them out. The neighborhood is loud, and there’s always someone hauling something past the door, but it’s a good place to be. We’ve been here long enough that the local tea seller knows exactly how we like it. It’s just a regular day-to-day operation here, making sure the filters are built right and shipped out on time.
