U & V Graphics

U & V Graphics is right at Lucas Corner, where S V Road and 1st Road meet in Khar West. It is a very busy junction and there is always a lot of noise from the cars and rickshaws outside. We are near the Krishna Chaya Hotel, which is where we usually go to get our lunch or some tea. The office is quite small and we have a few computers where we do all our design and graphics work. It is not a very fancy place. We have piles of old samples and paper scraps in the corners. The walls have some marks on them and the lighting is a bit dim in some spots. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, just a couple of plastic chairs by the door. Most of our work is for small shops or individuals who need things like cards or flyers. We aren't trying to be a big design firm. We just do the work as it comes in. The electricity can be a bit unreliable sometimes if we have too many machines running at once. We know a lot of the people who walk by our window every day because we have been here for a while. It is a simple business and we just try to do an honest job. We finish up in the evening and head home like everyone else in the city.
