Our office for Tyco Fire & Security & Construction Pvt. Ltd. is in Deonar, situated on the first floor of Ujagar Chambers. We are right across from the Deonar Bus Depot, which makes the area very busy at all hours. You can constantly hear the buses pulling in and out, which becomes a sort of background noise after you’ve worked here for a while. The building is off the Sion Trombay Road, so the traffic is just part of the daily life. Inside the office, it’s a mix of different things because we handle fire safety, security, and construction. There are blueprints rolled up on some tables and safety gear sitting in boxes in the corner. It’s a working office, not a place meant for showing off. The first floor is convenient, though the lift in Ujagar Chambers can be a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. It’s a practical environment where we spend our time on the phone or working through project files. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old photos. The staff here is pretty down-to-earth. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of the schedule. It’s a lot of coordination between the different departments, but we manage to get through it every day despite the chaos of the road outside.
