Our office is up on the fifth floor of the Embassy Centre. Being in Nariman Point means it's always crowded outside, but once you're in room 507, it's a bit quieter. We spend our days dealing with ropes and synthetic nets. It's a lot of logistics and talking to people on the phone about thickness and strength requirements. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so we end up waiting around with the other office folks in the building. We don't have a showroom or anything like that here, just desks and files and people trying to keep track of shipping schedules. It's a lot of coordinating between the production side and what the customers are asking for. The view outside is alright, but mostly we're looking at spreadsheets or order forms. It’s a busy place. We handle a lot of the administrative stuff that keeps the rope business moving. It’s not particularly glamorous work, but it needs to happen. Everyone here has their own pile of work to get through. We just try to keep things organized so nobody gets confused about where a shipment is supposed to be going. It's just a regular office day for us. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay ahead of the paperwork before the day ends. It gets dark early in the winter but the city lights are something else from up here.
