Tuan Jewels Private Limited

We are over at No.103 in the East West Industrial Estate. Tuan Jewels Private Limited is the name on the door, and we’re right by Safed Pool in Sakinaka. If you take the bus, the Safed Pool stop is just a short walk away, which is how most of the staff gets here. It’s an industrial area, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where the work happens. Inside, things are a bit different because we’re working with jewelry. It’s a lot of sitting at benches under bright lamps. We have to be careful with the small pieces, so there’s a lot of squinting and steady hands involved. The estate itself can be a bit loud with the other units doing their thing, but we keep our door shut to stay focused. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now. It’s not a showroom where you come to browse in fancy chairs. It’s more of a workshop where the actual making gets done. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of being in this part of town. We keep things simple. There’s a small area for tea and a few chairs for when we need a break. It’s just a group of us putting things together every day, making sure the stones are set right and the metal is polished.
