We are over at Shop No 1 in the Sai Astha Apartments. Most people know us because we are right near Thakur Vidyalay in Moregaon. It is a busy little corner of Mumbai. We spend most of our days here sitting behind the desks and watching the traffic go by. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the school kids outside, but that is just how it is around here. We have been in this spot for a while now. The office is not very big, but it fits what we need. We handle the paperwork and talk to the people who walk in from the neighborhood. It is mostly just local folks coming in to settle things or ask about their accounts. We try to keep things simple. No fancy furniture or anything like that, just some chairs and our computers. The rain gets pretty heavy in this part of Mumbai during the monsoon, and sometimes the water collects a bit near the entrance. We just put out a mat and keep going. Usually, one of us is here from morning until the evening. We do not have a big team, just a few of us who know the area well. If you are walking past the school, you will see our sign. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time. We just focus on the folders and the daily tasks that need finishing before we head home to our families. We like it here.
