Transport Corporation If India Ltd

Out here in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, life moves at a different pace. We are based in a place called Dhaka, which is under the Bhanai post in Bhadra tehsil. It is quite a long name for a small spot. Transport Corporation If India Ltd is the name on the door but to most people we are just the guys at the transport office. The heat in Rajasthan is something else entirely and we spend a lot of time trying to stay cool while we work. It gets very dry and dusty. We deal with trucks going long distances across the state and beyond. It is hard work and the hours can be long. We don't have any fancy management styles here. We just talk to each other and get the trucks loaded. There is a lot of sand sometimes but that is just part of living in this region. We know the routes well and we know the drivers who come through. It is a tight-knit group. We don't make big promises. We just try to get the freight where it needs to go. Sometimes the phones don't work great but we manage. It is an honest living in a tough environment. We are proud to be working out here in the desert area. It keeps us grounded and busy. We are just plain folks doing what we know how to do best for the community.
